Max LeiteDirector Mundial del Grupo de Plataformas para Mercados Emergentes (EMPG)

Max Leite es Director Mundial del equipo de desarrollo de nuevos negocios para mercados emergentes y trabaja en Intel desde 1997. Es responsable por el desarrollo de nuevos negocios inclusive del área de educación en soporte a nuevos productos para mercados emergentes, de esta área hace parte el CLassmate PC.

Al dirigir equipos basados en América Latina, África, Estado Unidos, Europa, Asia y China, tiene responsabilidad mundial.

Su carrera en Intel incluye cargos como: Director del Centro de Definición de nuevas Plataformas para América Latina, Europa y África; Director de Programas de Tecnología América Latina; Director de Productos América Latina; Gerente Mundial de Desarrollo VOIP de Intel Labs; Gerente Mundial de Marketing del Programa ISP y Gerente de Marketing del programa IPI para América Latina.

Antes de ingresar en Intel, Leite fue cofundador de una empresa de distribución de red y computadoras que incluía una infraestructura que abarcaba Brasil y EE.UU. Dirigió, también, las operaciones para América Latina de Stonhard en Monterrey, México. En 1996 fue responsable por el comienzo de las operaciones de AMD en Brasil y en Argentina.

Leite tiene MBA de la Universidad del Texas y graduación en Ingeniería Industrial en la Universidad de Oklahoma y en la Universidad Federal del Rio de Janeiro. Fue conferencista en importantes eventos, tales como: World Conference IT (WCIT), World Summit on Information Society (WSIS), Wireless Communication Association (WCA), Intel Developer Forum, International Telecom Union (ITU), United Nations World Wireless Initiactive, Voice on the Net (VON), Supercomm, Institute of Americas, Business Week Latin America Forum, Ibero American Convention on Digital Societies, Telexpo, The Institute of Americas, Comnet, ADIAT México, Brazilian Pay TV Association (ABTA), entre otros.
